If you have a photograph that you think may throw some more light on the 19th century, send it to us along with any interesting anecdotes or additional information about its origin or development. 

Our aim is to encourage you to take stock of the historical heritage to be found in your house, your town or your region. Even the smallest items are important if they help us learn a little more about our common past. 

• Please remember that all files will be opened by a PC.
• Ideally, all photographs should measure 10-15cm. 
• Resolution: 72 ppp. 
• Format: one that does not occupy too many bytes, e.g. JPG, GIF, TIF.
